{No Bake} Berry Pretzel Dessert
Here is a dessert I absolutely love and so far it has been a hit with all my friends. Of course I found this recipe on Pinterest, which is where I find tons of amazing recipes and pretty much anything pretty for every aspect of my life {don't you agree Pinterest is just the best?!}
I have made a few adjustment to the original recipe I found to make it a little lighter. I substituted the cream cheese and heavy cream for Greek nonfat yogurt and let me tell you, I absolutely love it. It's deliciously light and tasty, but I would love to get your feedback on this version of the dessert.
Servings: 9 -12 servings
Ingredients
- Crust Ingredients:
- 3 cups miniature pretzel twists or sticks
- 1/3 cup melted butter

- 1/4 cup light brown sugar
- Filling Ingredients:
- 32 oz Greek Nonfat Yogurt
- 1/3 cup Agave Nectar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- Topping Ingredients:
- 2 1/2 cups chopped fresh strawberries/blueberries (any berry you would love to add)
- 1 1/2 cups of any other fruit (here I added mango)
Instructions
- Finely crush the pretzels in a food processor, blender, or with a rolling pin in a heavy zip-close bag (which is what I usually do). Place the crumbs in a medium-size mixing bowl. Add the melted butter and brown sugar and stir to combine. Press the crust mixture into the bottom of an 8x8 pan, cups or bowls you would like to use.
- In a mixing bowl (I love these colorful bowls) combine the yogurt with with the agave nectar and mix together. It will create a light golden color on the yogurt. Pour over the crust and smooth with a spatula.
- Top generously with berries. Refrigerate at least 2 hours before serving. Enjoy!
Notes
You can also sprinkle some of the crushed pretzels on the top along with the berries if you desire to have more crunch!
